Emerald Isle Sailing offers private Hobie Cat sailing lessons and cruises on Bogue Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway, right in the heart of North Carolina's Crystal Coast. Every session is just your group, a USCG master captain, and a Hobie Cat catamaran. No crowded tour boats, no experience needed.
Sail the Crystal Coast, Your Way
Whether you're taking a relaxing cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway or learning to sail from scratch, your captain tailors the day to you. Sessions run about 3.5 hours, safety equipment is provided, and the boat holds up to 850 pounds of riders, so it works well for couples, families, and small groups.
Serving the Crystal Coast
We're based at 6800 Emerald Drive in Emerald Isle and welcome guests staying anywhere along the Crystal Coast, including Emerald Isle, Indian Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Beaufort, Cape Carteret, Cedar Point, and Swansboro. If you're on vacation, a private sail is a great way to spend a morning away from the beach and see the coast from the water.
Visiting from Eastern North Carolina
You don't have to be on vacation to sail with us. Many guests make it a day trip or weekend outing from Jacksonville, New Bern, Greenville, Wilmington, and Raleigh. A private sailing lesson or cruise makes a memorable gift, a birthday outing, or a different kind of date day. Gift cards are available here.
